Cookies, and why there are almost none here

This site does not track you. No analytics, no advertising networks, and no social buttons quietly reporting back while you read.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of text a site leaves in your browser and reads again next time. On its own it is neither good nor bad. Everything depends on what it says and who reads it.

A cookie that remembers you are signed in is useful. A cookie that follows you from site to site so the same advert can find you is something else entirely. Same word, different thing.

What this site stores

Exactly one cookie, and only after you click one of the two buttons in the notice that appears on your first visit.

NameWhat it doesHow long
planeta_pristanak Remembers your answer so the notice does not ask again on every visit 180 days

It contains one word, sve or nista. No identifier, no address, nothing by which a person could be recognised.

What happens if you click „Essential only"

Nothing changes from how it was before the click. No measurement starts, because there is none to begin with. Only the cookie with your answer is saved, so we do not ask again.

What happens if you click „Fine, count visits"

For now nothing extra happens either, because no measurement is set up yet. When it is, it will count page opens without anything that identifies a visitor, and it will appear in the table above before it is switched on.

We will never add advertising networks or tracking pixels. That is not an easy promise to verify, but it is one we are making in writing.

Fonts load from Google servers

This is not a cookie, but it is fair to say. The typefaces on this site come from Google Fonts. Google sets no cookie in the process, but it does see the address the request came from, as does every server you ask anything of.

If that bothers you, tell us. The fonts can be moved to our own server, and that is half an hour of work.

How to change your mind

Click the button below and the notice reappears, so you can answer differently.

How to delete cookies by hand

Every browser keeps this in its privacy settings. In Chrome it is under Settings, Privacy and security, Cookies. In Firefox under Settings, Privacy and security. You can delete cookies for this site alone, without touching the rest.

What about the plugin itself

All of the above concerns the site you are reading now. The Planeta SEO plugin, once installed on your own site, sets no cookie for your visitors and ships them no files at all. The details are in the terms of use, in the section about data.
